Flawed but a good read,
This review is from: Little Brother (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)On the downhill and seemingly increasing steep and fast slope to a dreaded 60, it is fair to say that I am probably outside of the target audience for this book. However, whilst never quite reaching the dizzy heights of "unputdownability" that I really look for, it more than held my interest.
Like many of the reviewers before I found a number of the characters somewhat two dimensional, but the lead was good. Also, I didn't really feel a great deal of empathy with the characters.
Apart from that, it was a good read, held my interest, and I looked forward to coming back to it. In a way, it's hard to categorise. If it hadn't have been for Vine I probably wouldn't have obtained this book, but I'm glad I did.
Hope that makes some kind of sense...
