Beware of Geography,
This review is from: Cool Camping: Kids (Paperback)
This book is thorough and well researched. It does give a good variety of campsites in all corners of the country. Some of the campsites are so far off the beaten track they would be very difficult to find so the guides are really helpful to highlight these places. It covers what you can do if the weather isn't ideal in each location.
My main gripe about the book is the spread across the country. There are 60 campsites recommended. Ten are north of Manchester. If you are from Scotland (like me) the choice is very poor. A few of the campsites are attractive to kids in that they have wide open safe spaces but not much else to do. The camping games guidance is useless unless you have a very large group and the campsite food is not great.
