This review is from: Bait Dog: An Atlanta Burns Novel (Kindle Edition)
This is more of the good stuff from Chuck W. Atlanta Burns returns in another uncompromisingly gritty tale from the mind of the self-professed penmonkey.
The story opens with the death of Chris (introduced in Shotgun Gravy [the previous novella]) and only picks up speed from there...the white supremacists are still bad, there's trouble in the Burns household and all that stands between a group of blood-thirsty ner-do-wells and the local dog population is Atlanta and her trusty shotgun - ably assisted by Shane.
It's another roller-coaster trip through the slow train crash that is Atlanta's attempt at vigilantism. Most of the previous characters make an appearance and there are some less-than-pleasant newbies too boot.
If you've read and enjoyed Shotgun Gravy - don't hesitate, it's more of the same.
If you're new to Atlanta Burns then go and read the novella Shotgun Gravy first to decide if you want more (if you hate it, Shotgun Gravy will be over quicker).
I read the whole thing in a couple of sittings and found it very enjoyable.
