Okay, so it's been said that this is just another clone of a tired game engine, but I have to disagree.
It really captures the overall feel of the latter Punisher comic-books and the Tom Jane movie. It's definitely a challenge on later levels, and there is a host of other Marvel characters making an appearence in the game, including Bullseye, Kingpin, Nick Fury and Ironman to name a few.
Also, there are plenty of goodies to unlock as you progress, including a huge gallery of Punisher comic-book covers, concept art for the game and a series of flashback images that you encounter during gameplay.
Overall, it's a must for Punisher fans, Marvel fans and anyone who just likes a good action game.

I agree overall with your review and I think there's a lot of good gameplay and replay value with this game, its truer to the later comics although as a fan of the earlier incarnation I wasnt disappointed with it, there are even clips from the earliest comics available as unlockable "flash backs" but I dont think its really a reflection of the Tom Jane movie.
