Finally all the singles on one CD...,
This review is from: The Greatest Hits + Bonus Hits DVD (Audio CD)
'The Greatest Hits' really highlights the magnificent career of Sinitta, and is a great reminder of all the great hits she has given us.
Naturally quite a few of the songs on this CD (in fact 16 of the 20 tracks) are the same as Sinitta's previous official greatest hits package (The Hits + Collection 86-09). It contains all the biggest hits from that album, including many iconic numbers, such as So Macho', 'Toy Boy', 'Right Back Where We Started From' and 'Cross My Broken Heart'. In addition to that we get 'Cruising', 'Aquarius' among others which were not featured on the previous collection, two of Sinitta's best singles in my opinion. We also get the amazing previously unreleased song 'Girl! You've Gotta Stop!' which funnily enough sounds even better than some of her "greatest hits".
This is actually the first time all of Sinitta's singles have been collected together on one disc - all in their original single versions/mixes - and so, this alone is a very good reason to buy this album. It is also a very good value for money as it comes with a bonus DVD disc with all the music videos for her hit singles.
I would recommend `The Greatest Hits` to any music fan, as it is a clear explanation of why Sinitta was one of the most successful singers of the late 80s in Britain. A true pop star!

Sinitta was NOT successful! Please-by 1989 she'd gone and a good thing too-we didn't miss her.
