Useful information, but patronising!,
This review is from: New Toddler Taming: A parents' guide to the first four years: The World's Bestselling Parenting Guide (Paperback)
While the content of this book is very interesting and does give good advice on tackling common toddler issues such as potty training, food, and sleeping problems, I found it irritating at times as the writer is sometimes quite patronising. I got the impression of being talked down to, and his anecdotes about some of the questions parents have asked him reinforced this!
I bought Penelope Leach's 'Your Baby and Child' at the same time, and found this to be a much better book all round!
