5.0 out of 5 stars looking & sounding good for a fourty year old., 3 Mar. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Later That Same Year (Audio CD)
Excellent album and improved with the additional tracks, including the UK N01 single Woodstock and an unexpected informative booklet.
If you like tight vocal harmonies and acoustic based music, not to mention an occasional pedal steel guitar, this album is highly recommended.
I have a vynil copy of this album somewhere which has not played for years.
(For all you younger folk - vinyl records were flat peices of black plasic, 305mm diameter with a hole in the middle. When rotated at 33 and a third revs per minute, with a sylus inserted in to the grooves, music was reproduced.)
CD's are much more convenient and durable in addition this remastered copy sounds good.
It has been a delight listening to this album again just like meeting up with an old friend.
It has also aged well for a 40+ year old.

I too have this beauty on vinyl. Haven't played it at 45 rpm though.

I wondered who would be first to spot the deliberate error in the original posting.
However thanks to Amazon and modern technology the earlier 45 has been substituted for 33 and you can't see the join
