I just loved this and downloaded some more of her work straight away!

From the very beginning, I warmed to the main character and was really routing for her throughout all the bizarre and hilarious twists and turns in her tale. It is a thoroughly English tale, and really makes fun of us and our reactions, in a wonderful way. I read this straight through, I simply couldn't put it down.
