Quirky and cute,

This review is from: The Knitted Odd-bod Bunch: 35 Unique and Quirky Knitted Creatures (Paperback)
This book is ideal if you like your toys to be a bit different and quirky and if you want a change from Amigurumi.
The characters are well done and have little descriptions about their personality which is amusing. They are ideal to make using odd balls of yarn.
The patterns are simple and there are instructions at the back on how to cast on, etc, which makes it ideal for beginners as well as more advanced knitters. I think they would be ideal to make for children as they are imaginative and the features are embroidered on and there are no hard parts.
Donna Wilson also sells these characters in various arty craft shops around the UK too but its nice to be able to make them yourself.
So far my friend has made Mitten Kitten and I have made Sleepy Pom and we found them easy and fun to make.
