Good printer but....,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Brother HL-2250DN Compact Network Mono Laser Printer with Auto Duplex (Personal Computers)
I buy Brother printers regularly for work, I'm always impressed by the speed, quality, reliability and general longevity of their printers.
However in the case of this model I feel the need to let off a bit of steam - why oh why don't they include a full toner cartridge? The one supplied ran out after a few days of normal use, so I spent quite a bit of my time going down the 'well it can't be the toner' route. Even adding the £20 or £30 it would cost at the manufacturing end to include a full-size toner would still leave you with a quality product at a reasonable price.
Maybe someone at Brother will take note of this? Probably not, but I feel better after that, I'm off now to scream and shout at a pile of socks ;o)

A valid point, but isn't this the case with all new printers?

I got a toner low message on the second page I printed with my 2250DN ... now that is a bit too soon I'd argue ...

What do you expect. Nearly all printers don't come with a full toner as these are often nearly the price of the printer itself. If you want a printer with a full toner cartridge included, expect to pay a lot more.
