5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fillm stupid critics., 7 May 2012
This review is from: War Horse [Blu-ray] [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
I went to see this film when it came out and regardless of what the so called critics have said about Spielberg and this film, they are wrong. I watched it and lived through the lives of the characters within the film, thats what this film does. It shows the stupidity of the British Army charging horses against an array of German machine guns and the Germans actually telling the British off. It shows the horror of war not just for the animals but for the humans. It questions us and our attitude to war and to the animals that were used in WW1. Spielberg has done a moving story and i am sorry the critics are wrong the film showed all sides to the conflict and WARHORSE even made me cry and i don't do that at films. This is a must have film that will raise your emotions and make you feel for the characters and the horses. If you did not like it then continue watching other silly films the worst film Spielberg did was War of the Worlds, not this.
Buy this and judge it yourself it was and still is awesome film.

Joe Bloggs says:
The stupidity of the British army charging against machine guns? Try watching the film again. The guns were hidden in the woods. If stupid decisions are made during war then it's usually by the elites, not the poor buggers dying at the front.
