This review is from: Wanted On Voyage (Deluxe) (Audio CD)
I find his voice incredibly frustrating. Lazy singing and some below par songs. Very little originality and the song "Budapest" makes me want to take the CD and destroy it with a hammer. Some real drivel passing as quality music these days and George Ezra occupies the top spot, Ed Sheeran, James Arthur and John Newman close behind.

Dreadful.

Whilst George does have a problem with diction,
I feel that it is somewhat over the top to call
his music drivel.

I tend to listen on headphones and the line in Budapest
that sounded like Da de vivd oo. Eventually turned out
to be I'd Leave it all.

Honestly, what a ridiculous summation of a new, raw talent.
It would have been interesting to have some examples of what
you consider 'quality' these days, then perhaps your argument wouldn't have
sounded so bitter.
Lazy 'review'.

Hi!

So why did you buy it? It's not hard these days to listen to an album before buying it. "frustrating voice, little originality, real drivel, dreadful, want to destroy it". Come on then, what do you listen to? I am intrigued. You've done your bit to belittle the musical efforts of the young man in question. I could not agree less with your review.
Bye the noo!

Another example of how bland and forgettable modern music has become. Whip up a bit of hype and wait for the next bandwagon to roll by. Watch the sheep mentality British public all jump on.

I guess some people just need to vent their frustration, that the music/musicians they dislike is enjoyed by others. Words and phrases such as "bandwagon" and "sheep mentality" are fairly meaningless.
