Completely past their best,
This review is from: Time line (Audio CD)
I'm a long-term fan and the albums from the early to mid-1970's are good. 'A Song For All Season' particularly so BUT, this album here is utter tripe. Non-existent melodies, irrelevent lyrics and a complete lack of both imagination and dynamism. What happened? I'm amazed this LP went to CD. Stick with the earlier stuff.

Well said mate. I come across this and couldn't believe the cover. Renaissance goes Bucks Fizz!!! What the heck!!

G. Donaldson says:
Actually I think this album is nothing like as bad as often made out. Okay, it's clearly a far cry from peak-Renaissance but most of the tracks are decent, catchy pop songs. Richard IX is irritating and the closing AutoTech is dire but everything else is quite enjoyable with Chagrin Boulevard a highlight.
