If you liked Indiana Jones, you will probably like this book. You have to suspend belief as
the plot is totally implausible - but just "go with the flow" and enjoy it as you would I. Jones,
without worrying too much about the scenarios being possible! Don't take it too seriously.
A CIA agent, a Spanish Det. Inspector and an English female archeologist team up to try and find
a stolen cloth, said to have covered Jesus' face after he died. They have only 3 or 4 days to discover
it. Along the way they get sidetracked into trying to find various articles which would prove to skeptics
that Jesus Christ actually DID exist.
They fly all over the world, having lots of hair-raising adventures. It is a good job this was a work of
fiction as even the archeologist treats 2000 year old artifacts with careless abandon!
There were a few "flaws" in the plot - one of them being, that despite at least one of the 3 having a mobile
phone, they never took any photos of the artifacts and their surroundings for proof. Strange?
But the book rattled along at such a good pace, with many twists and turns along the way, that I could
overlook the flaws. Throw in fanatical suicide bombers and a greedy billionaire and you have a good read.
I would re-read this book at some time, and others by the authors.
