The golden age of British romantic comedy is long gone...,

What is it with Brits producing one bad romantic comedy after another?
This film was awful. I only claim I watched it to the end because yes, the TV was on, but I was busy doing other things. The combination of cheap slapstick humour (poor toilet jokes, insinuation of gay sex and other pranks groom's friends are busying themselves with, granny underwear?), too many actors (to the point when you don't really care who is who), too many events compressed in a short period of time (quantity instead of quality). I love romantic comedies, but this is just a bad film. And Mena Suvari... What happened to the once golden girl who was even nominated for BAFTA! Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
This film deserves one solid star. But I am feeling generous (besides, if I gave I Give It a Year [DVD] two stars, I feel I should be considerate. Also, Brett Goldstein is more or less watchable.)
The golden age of British romantic comedy is gone... It seems.
