Love real bread!,

This review is from: Panasonic SD254 Breadmaker (Kitchen & Home)I have been making bread in this Panasonic SD254 three times a week for two months now, and it is excellent, wonder why I never took the leap before? I have always made my own bread but supplemented it with bought because I don't have time to make all the bread we eat (I do have to work!) and I often looked at breadmaker reviews on here. I was put off by some of the negative comments as, knowing my luck, I would be one of those unlucky people. However, I've done it now and not looking back yet.
I do find that the medium sized loaf is rather tall and I would prefer a longer loaf, but that is solved by making dough and then using my own tin occasionally. Rolls are good with the leftover dough. I have made the spiced fruit loaf, white loaf and brown loaf. Even my husband can use it LOL
EDIT: a year and a half later and I'm still using it two or three times a week, nothing has fallen off or broken so far, one of the best things I've ever bought.
EDIT: nearly 3 years after buying this breadmaker, it has decided not to cook the bread properly. It does not rise and I feel it is to do with the temperature not getting hot enough. This was on the brown bread programme and I tried the white which also did not work. I persevered making dough and cooking in the conventional oven but have now become fed up and bought another breadmaker. I did contact Panasonic and the reply just suggested I contact their "Cooking Line" which "assists Cooking Issues".
