Great little book which covers the basics really well,
This review is from: Prepper's Pocket Guide (Paperback)
Covers all of the basic need to know stuff about prepping for a disaster which the average person living in the suburbs needs to know. Some of the best tips - buy a portable butane gas hotplate, a multifunction tool, duck tape, several fire starters and outside solar powered lights that can easily be brought inside. I like that they support the idea of people buying extra supplies of long shelf life foods they would normally eat and just rotating the stock so that it is used up before its use by date. I also like that they remind people how important it is to keep your head warm in extremely cold weather and that layered clothing is the best for keeping warm. I had never thought to store my special survival equipment in empty suitcases until I read this book. There are many great little gems in this book.
