A Terrific Romp through the World of Food,
This review is from: The Foodie Handbook: The (almost) Definitive Guide to Gastronomy (Paperback)
I've been looking forward to this book for a long time, wondering if her editors would let Pim be Pim. I needn't have worried. This gorgeous little book is as smart and sassy as its author -- full of strongly-held opinions, wise culinary advice from around the globe, enchanting photos (many taken by the author) and wonderful, wonderful recipes. (Our local strawberries are at their peak right now and I can't wait to make the strawberry gazpacho that Pim learned from Manresa chef David Kinch.)
If you're one of the thousands of people who read her blog, Chez Pim, you already have a hint of how useful -- and how much fun --this book is. If you're not, you have a delightful surprise in store.
