Not disapointing but very depressing,
This review is from: A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 4) (Paperback)
This was a long book with too many details that were unnecessary, but I found myself trying to remember all the bits and pieces and trying to make sense of them. I enjoy the switching points of view, It doesn't matter that I was interested in staying with Brienne or Sansa, I would immerse myself in the new character with pleasure. I love that when we think that, for certain, something will happen one way, it takes a whole new direction. The twists and turns are mind boggling.
My biggest problem with this story is that nothing good ever happens. I do feel for the characters, even the suposedly evil ones like Cersei, and all this gloom and doom depresses me. I finished the book half an hour ago and I felt so empty. Although I loved the book, it's not a feeling I like to have. Complicated, right?
