Kind of one of a kind,
This review is from: Staff Meals from Chanterelle Cookbook (Hardcover)
This is the only restaurant cookbook I've ever seen dedicated to recipes for food prepared for the staff rather than the clientele! A wonderful and very different iteration of the generosity and passion for good food that's in the classic Chanterelle cookbook, Staff Meals is also a compedium of exceptional home cooking and one of the most useful cookbooks I own.
From a gorgeous Thai duck curry to a glorious chicken gumbo; from a delightful lamb ravine to an exquisite warm lentil salad and from Chicken salad with tarragon to fallen chocolate souffle cake: without fail the recipes are easy to prepare and ultra delicious. I don't know how I managed without this book in my life.
