missing vital track,
This review is from: The Best Of Rojack & Tays (Audio CD)
the best of jack taylors rojac and tayster labels? so what about master 4-love has taken wing, the 1 track that would make this cd a worthy buy.disc 1 wont have much appeal to northern soul fans.disc 2 has the northern tracks, having said that, they have been released on other cds.its the super rare releases that make cds like this a worthwhile buy.therefore a bit of research by the compiler would not go amiss.why worry about northern fans?well, without the ns scene, labels, artists, records like these, would have stayed undiscovered.

A tad biased I would suggest . Only a proportion of the output of this New York label was aimed at the dance market. There are some cracking real soul cuts here by the likes of Big Maybelle and the much missed Kim Tolliver. The soul in her voice on the epic, beautiful torch ballad 'Where were you' will for always be one of my favourite records.Personally I'd give it 4 stars.
