This cook book provides some interesting recipes and ideas for extending the range of a kitchen if you are a semi professional or professional cook and therein lies its problem. For a domestic cook the volumes suggested are huge. For example a sorbet recipe demands 2 litres of fresh lemon juice which generates a considerable volume of the final delicious sorbet. All the recipes for french tarts are for 14 servings. Setting that aside the end result is delicious food. The flavour combinations are wonderful. No endless ingredient lists either. Here, fewer ingredients combine to produce food where the taste matters.
