Great Catalogue on Subject(should be volume II),
This review is from: Studio Pottery: Twentieth Century British Ceramics in the Victoria and Albert Museum Collection (Paperback)
I really wanted a book on the studio pottery for the period before the coverage of this book, as in Tinworth, Mark V Marshall and the Martin Brothers, but that is not to denigrate the quality of this book.
The giants like Leech, Cardew,Coper and Rie are all adequately represented but any studio potter of any significance since the inter-war years has an example here.
A reliable text with close to nine hundred illustrations a good selection of potters marks all go to make the definitive work on studio pottery.
