This review is from: Metz 24-AF1 Digital Flashgun for Pentax (Camera)
I used to own the Metz 48. When it was stolen I decided to try this smaller flash. It certainly has limitations, but it will be ideal for many people. And the size and weight makes it easy to carry anywhere. And the simplicity of this flash is really nice. It just has an on-off switch, and you change settings through the camera.
For me, I'd choose this over the Metz 48 even if there was no difference in price. It is just a great, small and light, flash.
Also - importantly - it may not look like it in the picture, but the flash can be pointed up (at different angles).
