The Magnificent Seven in Space,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Harlan Ellison's Seven Against Chaos HC (7 Against Chaos) (Hardcover)
Harlan Ellison's take on the classic story is easily recognisable for what it is - it's even admitted on the flyleaf - but it adds enough interesting elements from other sources including Ellison's rejected script for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Paul Chadwick's art is clear and excellently portrays the body language of the characters in the sections without dialogue.
If the book has faults, they are that the story is too familiar sometimes and the pacing is slightly uneven. The former can't be helped, though, and the latter derives from the project having been written and created as a mini-series before the decision was made to release it as an original graphic novel.
