If The Price Is To Good To Be True It Probably Is Not Worth Buying,
This review is from: In-Car Mini HD DVR VCR Camera Recorder Dashboard Dash Cam Security Protection Video Recording (Electronics)
Okay, this DVR was very cheap (c£26.00) so I wasn't expecting high quality video capture. Advertised as HD and definitely it is NOT HD! (VGA only) There is no mention of HD on the box or on the unit but the picture on the box shows an HDMI socket, however, on the DVR it's just a hole, covered up by a sticker? The LEDs don't do much and playback colours are poor, even with a type 10 video quality SD card inserted, but you can see what happened, if used in daylight conditions! Sound quality is also very poor so I turned this off. No PC software comes with it and the instructions are in "Chinglish" as is usual for many cheap items. I use DivXplus for playback but most video capture software will most probably work. Not a glowing report but saying all that the unit does work and it records what happened. Altering record time on settings also does allow changes but buy it if you are happy to get something very basic but cheap. I now use this DVR as a rear facing camera stuck to the back window, and I have invested in a much better quality DVR for front facing.
I just wish all suppliers would correctly describe their items and not say items have features, eg; HD, when clearly they don't.....very poor trading practice.
