Another winner from FAB press,
This review is from: Cinema Sewer (Paperback)
Cinema sewer was originally an amateur fan magazine dedicated to the most depraved films emanating predominantly from Holland, Germany, Japan and, of course, the good old U. S. of A. The book has collated the back issues & added an alleged extra 100 pages of capsule reviews (in tiny font and in `caps') of films depicting sexual violence towards women, disgusting perversions and pornographic variations which have to be read (seen?) to be believed. The book is littered with porno cartoons done by the author plus a few actual stills from the films discussed. A new classification (to me at any rate ) is the term Japanese cult - sleaze comedy : charming titles such as `Japanese torture comedy hour' should be sought out. Death videos are also covered for those so inclined.
One interesting title worth looking out for is Celebrity sex ( USA - 1991) featuring well known people behaving very badly before they were famous.
FAB Press have triumphed in filling a gap in the market - an intentional double entendre which becomes more meaningful when you read the book & flick through those cartoons.
The warning on the back sleeve "contains adult material" should be amended to "not for the squeamish or easily offended".
