1.0 out of 5 stars As far as horror films go, this makes a good comedy!, 28 April 2006
This review is from: The Hills Have Eyes, Part 2 [DVD] (DVD)
I'm not really sure whether this film was meant to be funny, but I'm sure the director must have known how silly it is!

A group of moto x riders are off to some race or other, and have to drive along the outskirts of the desert, but are warned not to cross it because of the cannibals (in part 1). They take a wrong turning (of course),damage their minibus and get a petrol leak so they have to cross the desert to save time and petrol.

Basically, you know what's going to happen, it's so predictable.

There's a particularly funny scene when one of the cannibals steals a bike and a couple of them chase him, and they all manage to converse despite wearing crash helmets. It reminded me of the Power Rangers!

Endlessly flawed, for example, a blind girl amongst them who supposedly has super senses in the other four, yet climbs into a cellar with so many dead bodies in it it must have stunk! And the two bikers go off after the cannibal who stole their bike, and despite not having returned by dark, no-one seemed too bothered. Can't say I was too much either.

Essential viewing for a lets-get-a-crap-video-out beer fest, though.
