Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Morphy Richards Accents 48702 Sear and Stew Slow Cooker - Red (Kitchen & Home)
I read the reviews before buying this but returned it unused as I was very disappointed with the thinness of the inner bowl. For years I have used a lovely heavy pottery bowl slow cooker and never had a problem with burnt food, but did not feel that this one would prove to be as good. Also I thought it was too big for two people, so I have reverted to a casserole in the oven instead.

H. Cooper says:
'Pottery bowls' cannot be heated on the hob unlike this one. The blurb also states clearly that it is 3.5 litres (quite big - certainly it's the size I use for my family). If you needed something made of 'pottery' and smaller why did you buy this? You have given it a poor review without even using it and because you made a poor judgement. You should not have reviewed the product - you don't have to review something just because you are asked to by Amazon. Clearly there's only yourself and one other person (who simply doesn't get the concept of a slow cooker) to find 'fault' yet the product doesn't particularly seem to be at fault.
