Customer Review

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it!, 3 April 2012
This review is from: The Vicomte de Bragelonne (Oxford World's Classics) (Paperback)
I have read the entire d'Artagnan series and it is well worth it! Each book is as good as the last (none are as good as The three Musketeers) and I genuinely felt sad when I finished the last!

Please do read them all, so worth it!

Mervyn Capel says:
Try to get hold of "The Son of Porthos", almost certainly not by Dumas tho' C19th editions carry his name on the spine. In my opinion it's a very acceptable finale to the Musketeers saga, as we find out what happens to Aramis. Not sure who actually wrote it, but as many of Dumas' novels were collaborations with "hacks", it's arguably as canonical as the others.
