Might as well read a guide book,
This review is from: Inferno: (Robert Langdon Book 4) (Kindle Edition)
If I wanted to read a guide book then I'd consult Lonely Planet. The Da Vinci Code had obscure historical facts, but they were centred around a mystery and code that needed to be solved. Inferno just had descriptions about décor with no purpose other than to showcase Dan Brown's presumably lovely holiday in Italy.
And don't get me started on the ridiculous pseudo-science.

This review said everything I had been thinking, guide book is the word I would use. I find myself clicking through pages hoping to get to the thrilling part, Is Dan Brown a writer with only one good book in him. I will not be reading another of his. It made me sad as I saved it to read for a special time, what a waste.

Absolutely agree. What a load of badly written rubbish. No more Dan Brown for me.
