THE ORIGINAL PRINCESS OF POP!!!

Let me just start by saying i HAVE actually heard the album and it is definitely NOT the Christina i am use too and i am sure most people wont be either.
Forget all the Lady GaGa comparisons as this woman has been doin her thing from day dot.

I have got 3 of Christina' previous albums it seems she has strayed a long way from her old self and for me it's not a good thing as this album is more up tempo, in ya face, louder and harder - BUT... when has that ever stopped her giving a damn!?!

After my first listen i would say there isn't more than 3 at a push 4 stand out tracks but buy the album and make up your own mind.

My verdict: 2/5 stars - Like one of Christina' previous albums in my opinion she SHOULD go "Back To Basics".

On each album though she changes the way she is?? Each one is different, so I didnt expect this to sound like anything I have heard from her before.

I havent heard the album, but will be buying it, Ive heard Not Myself Tonight, and the video shocked me lol I cant imagine what the press have been saying, they kinda flipped their lid when she released the Dirrty video lol I think this one is more raunchy.

Glen says:
Yes I agree, sure she reinvents herself every album but the progression from Stripped to Back to Basics was a more smoother transition. This new album is just drastically different, not her genre of music at all. I think she went overboard, being inspired by Lady Gaga and the like. And yes her new video for Not Myself Tonight was racy, showing her breasts and all that, and even though she sings the F word in it I thought it was an alright song. But then I saw her on MTV Music Awards 2010 and wtf was she wearing?! Not to mention the horrible songs that made no f'ing sense which followed up Tonight. Overall, she needs to drop the S&M look and costumes, bring her hair back down to the natural look and make good R&B again. Not this jungle electronic emo pop, that is not going to propel her anywhere being the voice of her generation. And I am right, her singles are tanking and she had to cancel her summer tour because of low ticket sales (even though they made up some excuse otherwise). Nobody wants to hear this from her, they want her to be a diva, not some Bjork rip-off. The only people liking this new image and music from her are you die-hards, don't get me wrong I'm one too, but this is not Christina. She's trying to be something she's not. And here I thought she had her whole career planned out. Well she needs to think of something quick, because when her tour finally comes around summer 2011 I think even less people will have bought tickets lol.
