Don't Forget your Pen & Notebook!!,
This review is from: Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dreams and Accomplish Your Goals (Paperback)
It's been my experience in life over many years now that most people live in the past in a painful never-ending daydream. Naively wishing for "something good" to just pop out of thin air to happen or be given to them without realising that life doesn't work like that. This is emphasised in Jason's introduction.
Having a passion for something is heartfelt & drives the emotions. This urge inside you to do something is driven by a strong desire to take action to achieve that object you're trying to reach. Oftentimes though we come across obstacles that thwart our efforts in reaching our goal & this is when we need a little assistance in finding another way to our target.
In this book, Jason has very cleverly provided "another way" for those of us that find our path blocked every so often, by giving us a tool that will motivate us to take the next step & get back on track.
Here you'll find 365 nice easy to read & digest pages of wisdom from famous & successful people from the today & the past who have written down their secrets of success & what inspired them to move on to the next level. Each page is headed by a quotation & then the rest of the page is devoted to an explanation of what it means & what you can actively do to fix that problem. Each page should be read one day at a time and should take no more that 10-15 minutes to complete & contemplate. Jason wisely advises the reader to make notes as you go along & keep them in a small notebook that you can refer to later.
Note: You may be tempted to read more than one page & I'm sure this is OK but please make sure you do it with a mind to act upon each topic in question before going too far on in the book.
Written in an easy to read & access style you'll find decades of wisdom here all in one place which will save you a lot of valuable time & money. It's so different from the other thousands of other self help books on the market in that it doesn't drone on about "I knew a man called Fred who grew up in Harlem & didn't have two stitches but now bla bla......" nor is it like some contemporary authors who just write "more stuff" to make the book fatter & line their own pockets.
More grease to your elbow Jason, I'm looking forward to your next book already!!
