Cool classic shoes :-),
This review is from: Converse Unisex Chuck Taylor All Star Core Hi-Top Trainer (Shoes)
I have two pairs of Converse Allstars Hi, the Ozzy Osbourne ones and the Socal. My feet are a size 7.5. My Ozzys are a size 7 because size 8 were way too big and couldn't find them in a size 7.5. My Socal ones are a size 7.5 and fit perfectly. The materials used to make the shoes don't allow for 'breaking in' so please make sure you try them on in a shop if possible and ensure that your toes have plenty of room around them (so they don't get squashed, my size 7 ones are OK in length but it's the width at the toes part that is the problem) as the shoes are quite narrow, especially at the end. I have quite narrow feet by the way. Anyone with wide feet would probably not be able to fit into them. I have put insoles in the for arch support because the insoles are completely flat (odd!) and would be probably be uncomfortable if you wore them for long periods without some kind of arch support. The ankle support is good though. I wear my Allstars with leggings and a long top or slim leg jeans rolled up, I like to show them off not hide them under baggy jeans lol. I've put multi-coloured laces on them coz black or white is too boring to me lol, I change the laces when I get bored. I'm a 25 year old mum and wondered if maybe I should grow up and start dressing more conservatively but I decided against that! lol. Get the brightest pair you dare to wear and experiement with them! Wear them to work with a suit! lol. For me my Allstars say I am still fun, I still have the attitude I had when I was 17 and I'm an individual. My next pair are gonna be white and I'll paint them with fabric paint so no one else will have the same pair as me! lol. X PS I have given them 4 stars not 5 because of the insoles and half sizes are difficult to get. Another bonus of the Allstars is no leather (I'm a veggie) but they are still hard-wearing.
