Excellent extension to Progress,
This review is from: Progressed (Audio CD)
This album provides another indication of how Take That have matured since their teen heart-throb days. As the band are keen to point out, they are now a "man band" not a boy band, and the variety and depth of the new tracks on this album is proof of that. The return of Robbie has added edginess to both the studio productions and the live shows without diminishing in any way what Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard achieved without him. While the new songs don't really make up a full length album, they confirm Take That in the direction they embarked upon with Progress and give the fans something to enjoy while they wait either to catch them on tour or wait for the next studio outing.
