Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Raven: My year of dating dangerously... (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed the book as I could relate to it completely after having same kind of experiences....minus the strangler!
I would recommend it to any woman of a certain age thinking of giving the internet dating a try.
I gave it a five star as I think it's a very true account and found it exciting, thrilling and both dark and light in places.
Well written Monica.

GTP (Graham 'the pipe') says:
I found this review of particular interest, as it confirms my thoughts that Monica was not a lone 'wolf/cougar' in this twenty first century jungle us humans, of both sexes, inhabit. Sexual satisfaction is a physical act and IF it results in a four letter word beginning with L, then so much the better. Sadly the present pace of life - coupled with the resultant stresses generated - have resulted in a tendency towards speed in communications both electronic and sexual. The days of old fashioned courting, leading eventually - but not in all instances - to intimacy, would appear to be a thing of the past.
Speaking as a 'non chauvinist' I can understand, totally, where Monica is coming from in her astute 'observations' of what constitutes the male genre. Why should females have to listen to excuses, justifications and any number of repetitive stories before yielding, if so wishing, to intimacy?
Being an honest and 'old fashioned' chap, there is one aspect of this 'procedure' that puzzles me immensely and can only be answered by a member of the fair sex. What 'attracts' and differentiates one male from another when the telephonic foreplay commences? How can a female 'know' she could end up sleeping, within hours, with a complete stranger?
