This review is from: Wrestling Babylon: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death and Scandal (Paperback)
An interesting read, sometimes repetitive and at times could stand to go into more detail. The author has no love of the WWE and could, I felt, be rather ascorbic at times. However, given the recent Benoit tragedy, the book may be especially relevant as it spends a lot of time on steroid and drug abuse. It does not run short on eye openers and scandal. At times a dictionary would have been useful as the author is not the sort to use two or three words of two syllables when he can use a long one. A reasonably short volume, it is not tedious.
All in all I found it a decent read and would recommend it for true wrestling fans.
