Very Disappointed with this book,
This review is from: Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit of Lance Armstrong (Paperback)
Very Disappointed with this book. There is no structure to it's reading order and constantly jumps back and forth the timeline.
Walsh pursues Armstrong for 7 years, but when Armstrong retires he more or less admits there is no more he can do. 5 years later along comes Landis, and subsequently USADA, who bring about Armstrongs downfall, but this chain of events is quickly covered in only 16 pages.
I was left feeling Walsh had become so obsessed in bringing down Armstrong, he is left genuinely gutted not to have been there at the final kill or credited for it.
Armstrong once said Walsh was the worst journalist ever, I'm not sure about that but he certainly isn't a great book writer.
