A useful manual in the right hands,
This review is from: The Manual of Sail Trim (Paperback)
This book is certainly not lacking in technical detail but is really not very intuitive in its layout. The lack of proper introductions to the chapters or subject material makes it extremely difficult to follow the logic and it is almost impossible to pick up and take off from where you may have stopped.
The book really needs to be used more as a reference guide to solve particular technical problems than as an easy to read introduction to sail trim.
In the right hands it has loads of very valuable information but don't buy it if its your first book on the subject.
