I love the book but I am a bit disappointed that it doesn't tell anything about Python as a web technology, namely how to use Python in the web using a web server. I expected the book to introduce me a bit to CGI, Django, etc. As a PHP developer I miss that very much because I don't know how to use Python as a web and server-side technology. On the other hand - to help us out - there is a general "Python in the Web" IRC channel on freenode called #python.web.

M. MCGRATH says:
Chapter 8 "Processing requests" is entirely devoted to server-side scripting with Python. It includes detailed full-color step-by-step examples demonstrating precisely how to use the Python cgi module on a web server.
