1.0 out of 5 stars Trunki is hell to travel with, cute but DO NOT TAKE THIS TO AIRPORT!, 9 April 2010
This review is from: Trunki Ride-on Suitcase - Limited Edition Gruffalo (Brown) (Luggage)
oh how cute! I immeadiately wanted that trunki, so nice. But guess what, we travel with an 8 and a 7 year old and a toddler. impossible, the thing was uneasy to steer,, kids could not handle it, it was hard to open and close. we took it to the carribean and left it in our hotel room as my husband refused to go on the return trip with it. A shame as it looks nice but luggage for little people? I dont think so. no more trunkis for us....

Miss Horner says:
So disappointing that you chose to just leave it in your hotel room - many people in the Caribbean are very poor and it would have been much more socially responsible to give it to a local child or family. They would have loved it as a plaything or for storage as toys and children's items are so expensive to import over there.
You also missed the opportunity to provide a pro-social role model to your 3 children - you could have shown them that things are not disposable and taught them an important lesson about charity.

I don't know that I would think twice if 1 review out of so many was poor, I'd be more inclined to think that maybe this was actually a duff one or the old adage "you can't please everyone" I'm still getting one after having had a play around one of my local shops with the display model.

Note to the original reviewer - next time if you don't want something, give me a shout and I'll take it off your hands ;)

i think it's more of a case that you can't please everyone, i have a 3.5 and a 2 year old, they love their trunki, and both can steer this with no problem..
