Stunning recipes, beautiful book,
This review is from: Shaun Rankin's Seasoned Islands (Hardcover)I know this book well as I have not stopped coming back to it since I received it in November! Shaun is a well known Jersey chef with a great restaurant where I have eaten a few times and the food is fantastic. The book though doesn't have michelin-star type recipes, just good, simple, but gorgeous food.
I especially love the features on local suppliers in Jersey and Guernsey and Sark who create the food that is cooked in the book- really nice touch and fits in well with my philosophy on sustainable eating.
