5.0 out of 5 stars Canon Printer, 2 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Canon PIXMA MX895 All-In-One Colour Photo Printer (Print, Copy, Scan, Fax) (Accessory)
So far the printer appears to be doing what it says it does. A quiet efficient product, although the two tray paper feed system takes a while to get used to.

What seem to have been older versions of this MFP (e.g. the 885? ) were specifically described as being able to scan oversized docs and thick docs like books.

Does it look as though this model would do that?

Many thanks.

EDIT 15.11.12: I decided to order this printer anyway, and it arrived exactly as per the estimated delivery date, 1st thing in the morning, so no waiting-in. Too early to give a product feedback, but initial reaction is positive. It does look like it could handle over-sized docs, at least to some extent.

I'm slightly confused about the ethernet cabling (we don't have a wireless router), as there is a bewildering array of adapters for the network cables, but no doubt that will all become clearer. Initially, we'll probably just make do with USB.
