Strong, heavy, big,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 Standard Lock with EZMount Bracket (Sports)
The lock looks very strong, with an oversized diameter shackle and a oval section main body with central key location, the action locks both sides of the shackle "U" not just one like some models, the keys are high security not the tubular type which can be easily opend with a pen, one key of the 3 has a blue LED light built in, though the carrying bracket is well made I found the lock was too big to fit within the frame of my 19" framed MTB so is unlikely to fit most bikes. A note on the £1100 theft insurance you have to register the lock with kryptonite within 2 weeks and if your bike is stolen you have to send them the broken lock to claim!

Miss T. C. Soe says:
What if the thief didn't leave the broken lock? Can I still claim it under insurance ? Two of my bikes were stolen without a trace. I used very expensive locks to protect them but the thief still managed to steal it from well lit crowded area

no broken lock no kryptonite insurance... best to insure your bike through your home insurance.
