Its quite good..... I suppose...,
This review is from: Juiced (Xbox) (Video Game)
This game is what I class as an average racer. I decided to buy JUICED after renting it out for 2 nights (maximum...grrr!) and found it just as good as Need For Speed Underground 2.
However, once I had bought it, I found that the small number of cars featured in the game were available to me within half an hour of playing the game. With anticipation building on whether more cars would be available to me, I was largely disappointed to read in the game manual that those were all the cars.
Now, onto the gameplay...
At first glance (which I experienced through my rental period), JUICED is an amazing game with realistic handling and great pleasure in modding each car to my desire; but at second glance, there is a whole other ball-game: REAR WHEEL DRIVE. The most unrealistic and annoying feature of the game, as your car - and yours alone - skids all over the track with no control whatsoever. And as you progress through the game for a further 5 minutes and the Dodge Viper GTS becomes available to you (fastest car on the game) you find that rear wheel drive are not just hard to handle but seem to have wheels made out of butter that do not have any means of stopping.
I hear Midnight Club 3 is quite good... fancy a trade...?
