Probably the Best Textbook on Cognitive-Behavioural Approach to Clinical Hypnosis,
This review is from: Essentials of Clinical Hypnosis: An Evidence-based Approach (Dissociation, Trauma, Memory, and Hypnosis Book Series) (Hardcover)This book by Lynn and Kirsch is probably the best introduction to cognitive-behavioural approaches to hypnotherapy available. It draws on the authors' extensive experience of evidence-based practice and research on hypnosis to provide a detailed overview of treatment protocols for a range of common problems, derived from established CBT procedures and research on hypnosis. It's not cheap but it's well worth the price and I'd suggest making this one of the first books on hypnosis you purchase and read.
