Oh, so frustrating,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)

I got this game as my young so loves dinosaurs, and loves the Jurassic Park films. It's not too unreasonable a game, on the whole, and he likes it whenever we get a new dinosaur, and feeding the dinos, and so on. But there are some quite large flaws...
1 - needing to be connected to the internet to play it is a pain. There's no real need for it, unless you want to buy notes.
2 - there's too many iconic dinosaurs that you can only get for notes, and the accumulation of notes in game is *painfully* slow. I've just got to the point where a T-Rex is available, and it's for 490 notes. I currently have 19, and the only thing I've bought with notes before is a pteranodon (49 notes) and one of the decorations that a mission said I had to buy for about 3 notes. So, that's just over 70 notes in about four or five weeks. That's gonna take an age to buy...
3 - But you can buy notes.... however, the cost of notes, should you wish to buy them, is exorbitant. To buy enough notes to buy a T-Rex, I'd have to spend over £20. And anyone that thinks that's a suitable price to buy a dino for a park in a game has rocks in their heads. If it costed about a quid a pop for such dinos I'd probably think it okay to buy them, as it'd make my son smile to see them in the park. But at that price... not a chance. The whole game's not worth £20, let alone a single dino...
4 - although you can exchange notes for coins; you cannot exchange coins for notes. Even at a measly exchange rate, say 10,000 coins for one note that would at least have given players another option to get more dinos where notes are the only option. Either save up for ages for that dino you really want, or buy more of the lesser ones in the mean time.
5 - there's not really enough variety in the game. Place dino/building/attraction, collect coins, feed dinos, etc. There should be more little sub-games like the code red one to add in a few more different things to do.
Really, if it wasn't for my son liking to see the dinos etc, and getting excited when each new one hatches, I'd probably have deleted the game a long time ago...
