good sound but you need the right kit,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: 100 Hits - Karaoke (Audio CD)
Good sound tracks, but I bought the discs assuming I'd be able to retrieve the lyrics on my PC. No such luck.
A shame the lyrics aren't provided as PDF files on oe of the discs.

Problem normally is that the CD/DVD drive on your PC won't automatically look for/find the graphics files and in some cases the CD/DVD drive simply will not find the graphics files.
You can get software to play CDG directly but this won't work if your CD/DVD drive simply cant handle the graphics (which are recorded on part of the CD which isn't usually used to store data). For example could use the following:
At $39 (approx £25) you might not think it's cheap but if you intend to get lots more CDG's then perhaps an affordable overhead? Make sure you download the trial version to make sure it works with your CD/DVD drive first. On the website it looks like you can get it for free if you trial/buy something else from a sponsor company - I have not tried this and don't know if it is legit but have no reason to believe it isn't.
I use software from the same company (and same price) to rip the music and text (mp3 and associated CDG (lyrics) file) to the hard drive which is obviously more flexible. Again a trial version to make sure it works on your PC first:
I then use freeware Kara Fun to play the ripped tracks on the PC:
I'm not connected with either sofware company and there may well be other cheaper/better ways of doing it, but it works for me.
