Interesting, but not as interesting as Heinz Guderian recalled in his book: Panzer General. A well written and detailed account of the unique leadership required to overcome many Soviet Armies in Southern Russia. Interesting history of how he dealt with his own political masters in Germany. Detailed and interesting account of the Field Marshall executed and managed the campaign to capture the Crimea and in particular the battles fought to take the Soviet fortress of Sevastopol. Perhaps the most interesting account, in particular is the masterly counterstrike leading to retaking of Kharkov. And of course the mobile defence in depth doctrine he devised which has been the NATO battle plan for more than 60 years now.
