1.0 out of 5 stars Gold..Crapp!, 9 Sep 2013
This review is from: Tales of Us (Audio CD)
This album is by far the worst produced by Goldfrapp. It is simply a rehash of Felt Mountain, but whereas the latter was an original and an exciting production for it`s time, this album is dated and boring. Whereas some die hard Goldfrapp fans may be content to accept any rubbish they produce, I personally feel that this album is total crapp and definitely not of their usual standard.

As a long term Goldfrapp fan I have to say I have to agree. I would not go as far to say it's total rubbish, but I don't quite understand a group that can make folksy chillout music one minute and have thumping club anthems the next. I definitely prefer the more dance orientated albums. I have put off buying this cd and normally would rush out and buy new material from them. I don't think if I bought this cd it would get many plays sadly!!!!

its called being diverse. If it was the same as headfirst you'd be the first one to say "well, nothing new here just more of the same so I won't bother buying it".
